HOW YOU WILL ACT.

 The Cybersecurity Alert Response team plays one of the most significant roles for IT Security as the main operational engine and first line of defense in the monitoring and triage of security alerts. The function works with a wide range of teams, particularly Cybersecurity Technology Engineering, to develop appropriate alerts for the detection of security concerns, monitors for security alerts, performs triage to evaluate those alerts, and takes appropriate action to resolve the alerts or escalate them to Cybersecurity Incident Management as necessary.

 We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable professional to lead a team that provides essential IT security operational services, such as Security Monitoring and Alert Triage and Security Alert Escalation. An IT security manager is in charge of strategy, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, execution, metrics development, reporting, and continuous improvement for a team that offers these services. In addition, you will be in charge of organizing the delivery of security monitoring and alerting. Your expertise in team building and talent development will be put to use to maintain a constant flow of talent within the organization, from early-career associates to seasoned professionals. You will be in charge of day-to-day operations with our managed security service provider and work alongside peers who are leaders in related fields (e. g. ) to ensure TJX's ongoing security, including technology operationalization, security content development, and so forth.

 YOU WILL REQUIRE.

 The following traits of successful candidates are.

•  a minimum of five years of experience in the IT industry, plus one year of management or leadership experience in a security organization.
•  a bachelor's degree in information assurance, technology, cyber security, or a related field, or the equivalent in work experience.
•  For cybersecurity operations (monitoring and alerting, incident response, threat intelligence, security remediation), knowledge of a broad range of security-related concepts, technologies, and practices is particularly crucial.
•  understanding of the NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), common security controls, their purposes, and the technologies that provide them.
•  The ability to lead, inspire, and manage a geographically dispersed work group requires strong performance management abilities, including coaching, goal setting, and holding team members across multiple levels accountable for commitments.
•  Highly developed verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels, from analysts to executives; the ability to move up and down the organization; and the ability to persuade others to take action by forming and maintaining partnerships.
•  the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while remaining cool under pressure.

 ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS.

•  a master's degree in information assurance, technology, or a closely related field, or the training equivalent.
•  direct practical experience managing a security operations center or other types of cybersecurity operations.
