What you'll be doing:

This job requires you to stay at your workstation for long periods of time and allows you to work from your home office. American Airlines operates round-the-clock. Weekends, holidays, and day and night shifts are likely to be included in the schedule, which may change throughout the year. For approximately ten weeks, you will be required to work from an American Airlines training facility, where you will also undergo intensive, fast-paced training.

Master several weeks of intense, fast-paced training on policies, tools, products, and processes; Work full-time, continuously at a workstation, with scheduled breaks and lunch breaks, in an operation that covers a 24-hour period, including weekends and holidays, as well as day, evening, and overnight shifts that could vary throughout the year and as determined through seniority bidding. Successful Reservations Representatives work in a caring environment with a passion for culture and diversity, a strong sense of community, volunteer groups, and support various causes. Are self-disciplined and accountable for performing job functions with minimal supervision Are resourceful, skilled in problem-solving, and are able to handle difficult/stressful situations Are able to work a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts, weekends and holidays assigned by seniority according to our 24-hour operational needs, and overtime as required The most competitive applicants:

• Have previous reservations and/or customer service experience in a contact center environment; thrive on continuous improvement and goal achievement; have a passion for travel; and possess the interest, knowledge, and experience necessary to become a customer's trusted advisor. You must provide these at your own expense:
• A different, committed region inside the home where to work including a workstation that is ergonomically sound
• All hardware including PC, screen, console, mouse, and flood defender (a USB headset will be given)
• Have and keep up with appropriately found smoke alarms, good lighting and a grounded plug
• Should have dependable transportation to go to preparing and group gatherings
• Network access
• The client is dependable to keep a steady web climate from their work environment that meets the base speed necessities

The PC (itself) should be permanently set up to the web modem. While working shifts, you cannot use wireless or Wi-Fi. The minimum upload and download speeds are 5 Mbps and 10 Mbps, respectively. You can check your speeds at www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and select the location closest to you.

The user is responsible for working with their Internet Service Provider (ISP) to resolve any quality of service issues. Computer – Hardware/Software The minimum hardware requirements are as follows:
