What to expect.
For your information, this position is scheduled to start in August or September and end in January or December. A minimum of 12 weeks and 40 hours per week must be spent on-site for an internship to be considered valid. Please consider your application before submitting it.
International students: Before applying, please confirm with your school that you have CPT work authorization. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students can only work part-time jobs because of their academic standing.

Your Actions.
- We are currently looking for an intern to assist the Connected Systems, Firmware, and Autopilot engineering teams at Tesla by helping to architect, build, manage, and operate the infrastructure and applications. You will plan, design, implement, and manage the ongoing Infrastructure components that support the advancement of Tesla's vehicles and technologies in this role.
- Business Operations andamp; Infrastructure: To power our internal software and processes, the Infrastructure Engineering team develops and deploys a wide range of services and tools. The initiatives you fund will have a significant effect on the company and enable rapid expansion. Strong candidates will either have full-stack experience or be excellent software generalists.
- Service Software Engineering: The Service Engineering team creates tools, procedures, and educational materials that support the field support team's work more effectively. They fill the gap between what happens with our products in the field and how they are engineered. The interns on this team will work on tasks like product support and software tools for diagnostics.
What You'll Be Bringing.
- presently enrolled in a program leading to a BS, MS, or higher engineering degree, such as computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
- proficiency in Python, Go, Java, C++, or other widely used industry languages.
- experience in creating and/or maintaining infrastructure and services.
- React, JS, Angular, CSS, MySQL, MS SQL, and Oracle are nice to have.
- Excellent understanding of basic computer science concepts and the capacity to write clean code.
- willingness and ability to work independently, while also being open to cross-functional collaboration with other engineering teams. attention to detail and execution.
- Genuine interest in learning about the development, construction, and operation of our products.
