Job Details:

The Southeast Hub Cost Center Accounting team of accounting experts and process specialists offers shared accounting services to The Walt Disney Company (including the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, and Corporate segments).

 Responsibilities.

•  Participate in the quarterly close process, which entails handling journal entry processing, account reconciliation creation, and ad-hoc reporting support.
•  Financial results are prepared and analyzed by line of business and segment.
•  Apply financial and US GAAP accounting concepts to our systems and operational processes with knowledge.
•  We research to find solutions and respond to questions from our segment partners.
•  execute sporadic tasks to support the team and the business.

 Necessary prerequisites.

•  experience in public or private accounting for two to three years.
•  Understanding of key regulations, procedures, and responsibilities in the accounting and finance department and administrative services division.
•  Understanding and demonstrating knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP") and Financial Reporting concepts and techniques.
•  Excel proficiency, including the ability to use pivot tables, V-lookups, and H-lookups.
•  In their "client service orientation," they displayed excellent professionalism and interpersonal skills. ".
•  There was evidence of analytical and numerical skills.

 Preferential requirements.

•  CPA or a potential CPA candidate.
•  3+ years of accounting experience, including participation in the close process, preparation, and/or auditing.
•  possessing SAP or other enterprise accounting software knowledge.

 Education is essential.

•  a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

•  a comparable qualification, such as an MBA or MS in Accounting.
