We develop and manage Apple's global real estate portfolio, oversee all related capital construction projects, provide first-rate facilities and site services, develop and manage sustainability initiatives to lessen the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, such as commute and renewable energy programs, and make every effort to ensure the health and safety of all Apple staff members, facilities, and customers in our locations around the world.

 We are looking for a senior facilities professional with experience, strong teamwork abilities, and high levels of motivation to join our team and manage the facilities upkeep of Apple's retail stores in the AMR Central and South East region.

 Significant Conditions.

  •  4+ years of construction/facilities management experience, with a focus on designing and/or managing outstanding retail spaces or workplaces.
  •  a proven track record of success working with internal and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive preventative maintenance plans and the resources to closely monitor them.
  •  knowing how to plan, schedule, budget, allocate resources, and carry out all technical services required to maintain and improve buildings. This includes call center services, warehousing, pest control, indoor plants, controls, fire alarms, janitorial, landscaping, flooring, and lighting.
  •  the ability to balance operational risk and investment while continually looking for the best possible design at an affordable price.
  •  Proven leadership and communication skills, including the ability to interact with people at various organizational levels and the ability to handle customer service issues involving staff members in an effective and polite manner.
  •  Quick and efficient maintenance issue diagnosis, handling, and resolution, including understanding of how to assign and prioritize repairs.
  •  understanding of how to connect and maintain relationships with governmental bodies, architectural and design firms, and general contracting companies.
  •  You must be centrally located to a major hub of retail stores in order to survey and support maintenance at each assigned store at least twice a month.

 Description.

  •  The Facilities Manager Facilities Leader should have proven experience in facilities management with a focus on operating buildings as outstanding retail spaces, delivering high-quality results at the most competitive price. In the AMR Central and South East region, this position will be in charge of the facilities services for Apple retail stores.
  •  Support and engage the area's retail businesses actively at all times, attend to their needs, and visit the establishments at least twice a month for thorough service reviews and to keep an eye on all significant work.
  •  In cooperation and close communication with leadership from the store, market, and global retail support organization, conduct regularly scheduled, structured site visits to each of the designated store locations in order to find and document any problems that might be affecting the operation of the stores.
  •  With the maintenance services that were contracted, collaborate with the vendors and suppliers to successfully meet the store's needs. Lead facilities will coordinate the response to crises that could have an impact on operations and will help staff members and contractors deliver operations services quickly and affordably.
  •  Drive cross-functional teams for real estate, design, innovation, standards, merchandising, direct sourcing, security, ISandamp;T, etc. to deliver regular, prescriptive feedback in order to achieve functional and operational excellence for all projects and programs.

  •  They are responsible for developing the Opex and Capex budgets, overseeing their administration via the Service Channel and other resources, and forecasting for the pertinent Geo.
  •  supervision of commissioning agents and contractors to support store acceptance and turnover of various projects and programs.
  •  Weekly check-ins, ongoing evaluation through store inspections and financial results, as well as direct management of significant vendors through the WO management system.
  •  Engagement of general contractors, consultants, vendors, and maintenance service providers, including competitive bidding and support during the negotiation of SOWs, CPSAs, and project-specific contracts.
  •  Review of all proposals and requests for change orders from vendors, workers, and other service providers.
  •  In order to provide a feedback loop that is continually being improved to improve building functionality and material selection, RDDM and Development design teams should frequently collaborate.

 Experience and knowledge.

  •  In bachelor's engineering programs, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or construction management majors are preferred.
