Regarding the job:
You will be in charge of 15 designers and design managers who are in charge of many of Target's industry-leading e-commerce experiences, such as cart, checkout, fulfillment, post-purchase, returns, and operational communications, as Director of UX for the Purchase & Support team.
To be successful, this leader must be able to comprehend Target's priorities and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to set design and experience direction. You will make sure that your teams have everything they need to thrive and produce great work on a daily basis. Operating procedures, insights, design direction, partner awareness, and a culture that values collaboration and inclusion are all examples of this.

Your bio:
- 5+ years of experience in people leadership with demonstrated experience in hiring, leading, and coaching high-performing cross-geography or remote teams.
- 12+ years of experience in ux/digital product design with a strong understanding of the craft of design. Strong data-driven visual, verbal, and written story-telling skills with the ability to bring partners along Experience successfully managing many stakeholders through all phases of the design process
- This position may be considered for a remote or hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. Experience working in large, matrixed, global, or multi-national organizations is an advantage.
- Ability to balance short-term and long-term thinking while raising quality and team performance. A Cross breed work game plan implies the colleagues center job will be a mix of virtual and on location at an Objective area. A member of the team works full-time from home or another location other than a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary
- HQ work location, and may travel to HQ up to four times per year under a remote work arrangement. Unless Target specifies otherwise, work duties cannot be performed outside of the country where the primary work location is located. USD is the range of pay.
