 Consumer Insight, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA), a division of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, is a center of excellence that directs strategy development and decision-making through actionable data analytics, integration, and insights. The Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team at CIMA is dedicated to implementing best analytics practices to gather data, analyze it, and then optimize our digital and contact center channels to raise customer satisfaction and accomplish business objectives.

 We are searching for a talented Digital Analyst with a passion for analytics and digital technology to play a crucial role in providing precise, insightful analysis to drive decision-making throughout the organization through data management and innovation. In this position, you must have an unquenchable curiosity about how things work as well as an excellent eye for detail. You also need to be comfortable collaborating with different partner teams, extracting and validating data, producing reports, and using data to tell stories.

 This position is an independent contributor on a talented team under the direction of the Manager, Digital Analytics, with a focus on DisneyWorld.com and the My Disney Experience mobile app. You are encouraged to apply even if you don't think you meet all of the requirements outlined in this job posting.  The ideal candidate must be physically based close to our office in Celebration, Florida because this will be an on-site position that also requires time spent in the office.

 That's what you'll do.

 Leverage digital measurement to help business objectives.

  •  With the help of business, technology, and other analytics partners, determine the data requirements and then set data collection requirements based on those needs.
  •  Implement quality control procedures and ongoing anomaly detection efforts to guarantee that the requirements for data collection are correctly carried out.
  •  Locate areas where data can be improved, and then take action to see those improvements implemented.
  •  Organize the production and distribution of reports and generate insights to communicate opportunities or issues.
  •  Actively seek out additional data to complete analyses and confirm hypotheses.
  •  Utilize your professional experiences to support project lifecycles and demonstrate your aptitude for analysis.

 

 To complete complex deep dive analyses, make analytical plans that include the deadlines, hypotheses, and data sources needed.

  •  Keep references on hand for reporting performance and understanding context.
  •  Create reports and graphics for executive leadership consumption that are simple to read, aesthetically pleasing, practical, and impactful.
  •  Maintain poise and a solution-focused attitude in all interactions with partners and internal teams.

 

  •  Participate in "Blue Sky" sessions, solve problems, and contribute to a positive environment.
  •  Respond to partner inquiries and make an effort to understand their needs in a business context before establishing goals and obligations.
  •  If changes are necessary to meet or exceed expectations given the time and resources available, communicate with leadership and partners.

 It would be greatly appreciated if individuals could meet the requirements listed below.

  •  at least three years of experience with software for digital analytics, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
  •  using Adobe Mobile App Analysis for more than two years.
  •  the ability to efficiently create tagging tactics and monitor QA analytics on mobile platforms.
  •  proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  •  thrives as a team player in a busy, convoluted, and uncertain professional environment.
  •  There have been examples of data analysis, segmentation scenarios, and use case identification.
  •  ability to use data to effectively inform decision-making and uncover insightful information.
  •  the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers thought partners, and collaborative teams.
