 This position is a member of the information technology team, which is a division of the information technology department.

 responsible for developing and offering support for mobile-friendly and web-based Java web services and applications. The chosen applicant will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal clients, management, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, and other developers as a member of an agile team in order to comprehend requirements and development needs.   •  Under the supervision of senior developers, develops new applications and updates existing ones for the IT portfolios for a variety of purposes, including corporate security, emergency preparedness and response, environmental and safety, and others.
  •  New technology is investigated and used to enhance existing practices, security, and performance.
  •  while troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, finds solutions and puts them into practice.
  •  collaborates with a team to develop detailed project requirements, specifications, and estimates, and ensures that tasks and projects are completed on time and within budget.

 The minimum requirements are education and work experience.

  •  a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, information systems (CIS/MIS), engineering, or a closely related technical field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  •  2 years of combined development experience.
  •  a year's worth of web-based software or service usage.

 Education and previous work experience are preferred qualifications.

  •  combined development experience of over two years.
  •  with at least two years' worth of web application usage.
  •  knowledge of the airline business.

 Information, Authorizations, and Certifications.

  •  understanding of common data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, and design patterns that is beginner to intermediate.
  •  Basic to intermediate development skills in Python, C, XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, GIT, JQuery, Angular, SOAP/REST, and other web development technologies.
  •  knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio, and GitHUB.
  •  having familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
  •  the ability to thoroughly inspect applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards.
  •  networking knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, and sockets).
  •  time management and priority-setting skills are excellent.
  •  excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  •  steadfast adherence to the Agile principles and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  •  understanding of automated testing and TDD.
  •  knowledge of OWASP and PCI Compliance requirements.
  •  utilizing diagnostic tools (SOAPUI, Fiddler, IE Inspector, HTTP Analyzer, and Dynatrace) to analyze data.
