The goal of the Business Analytics team is to make our data useful and enable a data-driven business. It is the team's responsibility to provide insights into our customers, products, and business processes. From our retail locations and headquarters all the way up to our executive team, the team provides direct support to business leaders.

We are looking for a hands-on data scientist who can use data science tools and methods to drive business process automations and support sales and service strategies by leveraging our data to lead important cross-functional projects for the automotive and energy industries.

What You'll Do:

• Add to every one of the phases of information science projects: from solving a complicated business issue through data analysis and modeling to translating a complex business issue into a data science issue.
• In collaboration with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Machine Learning (ML) Engineers, and Product Managers, develop and maintain intricate data pipelines to support our team's mission of democratizing data and enabling a data-driven organization.
• Communicate actionable insights to people at all organizational levels who may or may not have a background in data science.
• Deliver powerful business insights by closely working with leadership, engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Apply a variety of ML, advanced analytics, and visualization methods to various company datasets.

a proven record of building ML models and extracting insights from data, particularly in the business analytics (or related) domain. • Expert in Python and SQL, with a focus on common data science libraries and frameworks like Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow/PyTorch, PySpark, and others.
• proficiency in at least one visualization tool, such as Tableau, Streamlit, or another similar program.
• Expert in organizing and evaluating massive, intricate, and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to work independently and self-start in an unstructured environment, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity and structure it, bringing a problem from 0 to 1.
• Excellent problem-solving, problem-framing, and project management abilities, as well as the capacity to pivot rapidly.
