With a long-term goal of becoming a strategic data architect at a higher level, this position focuses on developing data modeling abilities. In order to support data democratization, this position will lead the development and upkeep of data architecture and collaborate with a team of data architects to advance the maturity of curated data, data pipelines, data quality, and data governance. The ideal candidate for this position will be eager to improve their data modeling abilities and long-term development as a mentor and lead data architect.
The process of finding, evaluating, representing, and communicating data requirements in a precise form known as the data model is referred to as data modeling and design. Through fundamental building blocks like entities, relationships, and attributes, data models show and make it possible for an organization to comprehend its data assets. Customer, product, employee, and other central business concepts are all represented here.
Strong comprehension of database storage concepts (data warehousing, data lakes, relational databases, NoSQL, and graphs) is required.
A strong desire to acquire knowledge of data modeling and architecture concepts as well as best practices.
Some familiarity with data modeling software (PowerDesigner, Erwin)
Experience with cloud databases and systems
