•Build and keep up internal processes and procedures for training related to Crew Payroll.
•Provide crew members with ongoing education on payroll laws and applications through instructional videos, quarterly base visits, interactive Live QandAs, and new hire and recurring training sessions via in-person classroom instruction.
•Work in concert with other departments, including Crew Planning, Payroll, Crew Scheduling, Inflight and Flight Operations, Safety, to determine and ensure the correct pay for special pay credit authorizations.
•Work with the Labor and Contract Compliance departments to implement new pay policies as a result of changes made to settlement or collective bargaining agreements that have an impact on pay logic or pay credits.
•Provide subject-matter expertise for all crew pay databases to ensure adequate testing of logic changes and reporting/tracking of logic errors.
•Consider daily pay credit exceptions relating to crewmembers' schedules that aren't supported by an automated payroll system, in accordance with the Flight and Inflight CBA pay guidelines.
•Follow up on these requests by sending an email to Crew Services, acting as necessary, then making manual modifications to the Payroll System.
•Prompt and accurate calculation of final pay for departing crew members through manual audit and database adjustments to make sure submission to the payroll department for processing in accordance with the necessary state law timelines.

•Manage and maintain employee payroll audit records, including but not restricted to repayment plans and DTG deductions.
•Manual audits of SICK/DTO usage twice a week to reduce overuse.
•Each month, payroll adjustments related to Leaves of Absence (LOA) are processed and audited.
•Manual reviews and adjustments made to fatigue calls in accordance with the conclusions reached by the fatigue review committees.
•Conduct UAT for Tableau, CPI, or the scheduling system deployments or updates.
•Assist in the organization of the collection of unauthorized credit card charges made by crew members residing in accommodations provided by the company.
•Coordination with other departments and attendance at meetings to drive and implement changes based on present trends, impending events, and historical reporting.
•Coordination with other departments during biweekly meetings to lessen pay errors brought on by inaccurate allocations made by the scheduling system.
•Assist the System Chief Pilots Office by conducting investigations and, whenever possible, finding quick solutions to conflicts in order to avoid formal grievance filings.
•Assist the Labor Relations department in gathering information and supporting documents for complaints in order to prepare formal responses and arbitration.
•Be sure to keep crew members updated on system changes or other events that might have an impact on how pay is processed in a timely and consistent manner.
•Continued manual monthly audits to confirm the accuracy of pay reconciliation performed at the end of each month using Excel and other systems to ensure pay issues and inaccuracies caused by system errors are corrected.
