We need a lead-level content designer with experience in games to help us push the boundaries of what games on Netflix could be. This role will closely work with a top-tier team of other content designers and writers, product designers, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional game partners to make it possible for millions of members all over the world to enjoy games on Netflix. In order to examine and improve how Netflix members can access, discover, and play games, we are looking for a full-time content designer to lead innovation workstreams as our games effort grows.

 The perfect applicant for the position is a multitasker with experience in content strategy, user experience writing, and content design. Additionally, they must be able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They will be self-motivated, proactive, organized, and meticulous with their attention to detail. They will also be able to prioritize their own work, communicate effectively, and present their work to significant stakeholders. Naturally, they will have a great deal of passion for and enthusiasm for games.

 This position focuses on the UI presentation of games on the Netflix service, NOT the content of the games themselves.

 Responsibilities:.

  •  -Begin, define, and manage all phases of fresh Content Design initiatives for the entire games product area.
  •  -Collaborate with prototypers and other designers to investigate and enhance how game experiences are presented on Netflix (including content, visual, interactive, and motion).
  •  For the Netflix Product UI to present game information, develop a content strategy and write UX copy.
  •  -Conduct A/B testing and qualitative research studies, using the results to inform decisions about the type of content that will draw in and hold viewers' attention.
  •  -Respecting the Games glossary and style guide while recording the language and word choices in design specifications.
  •  -As required, updating the style manual and glossary for the Games.
  •  Present your content design work to your team, important stakeholders, and additional content designers and writers for visibility and feedback.
  •  -Define Content Design workflows and parameters to direct discussion and advance projects.

 A minimum standard is.

  •  8 years or more of experience in content strategy, user-experience writing, or both.
  •  -A storyteller at heart, able to develop and lead compelling narratives across product touchpoints.
  •  -Absolutely meticulous, extremely well-organized, and able to set priorities and adjust to the changing needs of the team.
  •  -Able to make decisions and produce results from beginning to end while being at ease with ambiguity.
  •  Ability to define a distinct product voice and a mission-driven message through collaborative work with researchers and designers.
  •  -Experience in building language frameworks and design systems.
  •  -Fantastic communication abilities with visual thinkers, as well as the self-assurance to stand up for your convictions in our open, feedback-driven culture.
  •  -A proactive self-starter who performs best in a hurried and uncertain environment.
  •  -A positive outlook, especially when juggling varying workloads and obligations.
  •  -Proven track record of generating impact while leading sizable cross-functional teams.

 Experience with interactive or gaming content is preferred.

  •  The typical market range for positions at Netflix in this area is $80,000-550.000.
