Brief Description of the Position:.

  •  The Consumer Insights, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA) organization supports the creation of strategy by analyzing, integrating, and providing insights into pertinent data. By deeply comprehending all relevant audiences, we provide solutions that are centered on customer needs.
  •  You will work with the Food and Beverage, Merchandise, Theme Park and Resort Pricing, and Pricing lines of business generally while living on the Walt Disney World Consumer Insight Team. The team's mission is to enhance the visitor experience at our four theme parks, water parks, resorts, and Disney Springs in order to promote long-term customer loyalty and sustained profitability. This team also identifies demand drivers and revenue opportunities.
  •  Integrating and interpreting data, synthesizing insights, and effectively communicating results are all necessary when working with partners to solve problems. Working with various partner groups and complex businesses will require you to manage multiple tasks at once.
  •  As a hybrid employee in Orlando, you will be under the supervision of a Manager from Consumer Insight. This position requires regular in-person availability with the option of working partially remotely.

 What you'll do is.

  •  The Senior Analyst for Consumer Insights will be in charge of all stages of market research, including need analysis, project design and management, survey and discussion guide design, data analysis, synthesis, and presentation of unbiased, understandable, and practical insights.
  •  Create models, test hypothese, and analyze data to produce unbiased, understandable conclusions.
  •  Integrate Insights - Compile data from various sources to offer comprehensive viewpoints and useful advice for business strategy.
  •  Communicate Results - Outline findings in a manner that is clear and concise while also creating a compelling narrative that the business can use.
  •  Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners to increase influence, control outside vendors, and take the initiative in managing certain work-streams and cross-functional deliverables.

 What is necessary is:.

  •  In a research-related field, such as market research or business analytics, you should have at least three years of relevant experience.
  •  knowledge of the design, analysis, and interpretation of quantitative research.
  •  having knowledge of data analytics, including how to manage and work with large data sets using statistical software (such as SAS, R, Python, or SPSS).
  •  presentation software like PowerPoint, as well as advanced Excel skills (ex: complex formulas and/or VBA).
  •  demonstrated knowledge of economic indicators and business performance metrics.
  •  Critical thinker with the ability to sort through complex business issues, think creatively, and challenge the status quo.
  •  Ability to use enticing reports and presentations that tell a story to transform research data into recommendations and insights that can be put into practice.

 What will distinguish you is:.

  •  experience working in the hospitality, amusement park, or other entertainment industries.
  •  Prior work with price elasticity, optimization, and conducting pricing research studies (e. g. , conjoint/discrete choice analysis, max diff, van westendorp, gabor-granger).
  •  possessing practical knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, or another database management system.

 Required Academics.

  •  a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in an analytical subject.

 Preferable Instruction.

  •  a master's degree in a subject related to analysis.
