• Keep the aircraft, engine, APU, and landing gear configurations current in AIS.
• Examine and evaluate requests for new parts to ensure that their efficiency, interchangeability, and configuration are upheld in accordance with Allegiant's policies and procedures.
• Inspect modifications on all flying aircraft and keep track of their current status.
• In urgent Aircraft On Ground (AOG) circumstances, assist the department in charge of maintaining the aircraft.
• Check to see if the required documentation is in place to support the authorization of aircraft parts.
• Research Part Interchangeability and Applicability, including Pre/Post Service Bulletin status, to address fleet concerns.
• Conduct audits of essential time-controlled components to ensure Allegiant is adhering to its MTLSM program.
• Manage a report that details the current inconsistencies between the on and off wings' serial and part numbers.
• Assist receiving inspection by confirming necessary documentation and carrying out part number research, both of which must be done before a part can be accepted into the Allegiant system.
• Consider how the components have changed over time and whether or not they are still interchangeable.
• Navigate and extract substantiation data from manuals like IPC, AMM, CMM, SB, SL, and PMA to support part interchangeability.
• Commence submitting requests to Allegiant's IPC for the execution and recording of authorized changes to the aircraft configuration.
• Examine ADs to determine their efficacy and applicability to aircraft parts and assemblies.
• Review engineering records and implement safety measures to control fleet standardization.
• Update the AIS to reflect significant information like serial numbers and part positions.
