- Shops at Craft Lobby, Inc. is looking for a qualified applicant to fill a full-time, exempt Compliance Analyst position in its corporate HR/Benefits/Leave Department. is a privately owned business with its main office in Oklahoma City.
Among other things, duties also include:.
- Learn about any laws, ordinances, amendments, or proposed legislation that may affect the business at the local, state, and federal levels. Keep an eye out for them.
- Ask about legal representation and let them know when you learn of any new or modified laws or regulations.
- making educational materials, regulations, rules, and guidelines for compliance with employment-related laws.
- You must effectively and succinctly communicate with executives, management, staff, and vendors in order to adhere to employment laws.
- In order to identify any gaps that need to be filled, compare Company protocols, procedures, and policies to the most recent employment-related laws and regulations.
- serve as a subject-matter expert for HR, benefits, and leave compliance.
- work together with other departments on implementation, auditing, and compliance-related issues; and.
- Together with the project coordinator and/or project supervisor, plan joint implementation efforts.

- a bachelor's degree or 6–10 years of experience in benefits, leave, or human resources;.
- understanding of leave, benefits, and/or human resources, including any or all of the following.
- Employer-related state and federal laws (e. g. as well as the ADA, FLSA, and Title VII.
- The FMLA, paid sick leave, and other leave-related laws are governed by both federal and state law.
- adherence to a benefits program (e. g. ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and the IRS).
- resourcefulness and the ability to take the initiative.
- With confidence, accuracy, and clarity in both writing and speaking.
- experience handling sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner.
- flexibility in response to shifting priorities and the ability to multitask.
- a strong interpersonal communication skill.
- exceptional logic, analysis, and problem-solving skills; and.
- understanding of Microsoft Office's Word, Excel, and Outlook programs.
Preferred experience:.
- experience with various states;.
- writing or editing manuals or handbooks for employees.
- familiarity with SAP and Kronos; and.
- having training experience or supplying internal departments with information.
