 A GENERAL POINT OF VIEW.

•  The Cisco Network Engineer is in charge of designing and implementing the network communication.

 THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK.

•  Firewall technology should be implemented, maintained, and supported.
•  Support the network infrastructure environment, respond to notices of escalation, perform root cause analyses, and troubleshoot problems.

•  2-4 years of professional experience in the creation, implementation, and upkeep of Cisco / Meraki enterprise-class routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco and/or Palo Alto).
•  understanding of the Cisco Nexus and Catalyst product lines (layers 2/3), including implementation and support.
•  demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting a range of network products (examples: Cisco, Palo Alto).
•  the ability to use routing protocols.

 EDUCATION: .

 Although a combination of training, professional experience, and education may be taken into account, a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
