The Associate Data Scientist, Pricing and Revenue Management Decision Science (Remote Position Available) will be a member of a team that applies operations research, statistical, machine learning, product management, data engineering, and programming expertise to provide solutions to business problems. The data scientist will be able to see the immediate results of their own work and will work in a setting where putting forth novel ideas and approaches is encouraged. The Data Scientist will work with various teams in the Pricing and Revenue Management (PRM) division to identify business problems, conduct research, and put solutions into place. Process automation, the identification of critical new insights in data, and the application of a model to extract value from those insights could all be solutions. Supporting ongoing improvement of the systems, practices, tools, team, and oneself will be a top priority for the data scientists and decision scientists.
Essential Objectives.
- Design, execute, and deliver advanced quantitative analyses and models using operations research, statistical, machine learning, product management, and programming skills to direct decisions and actions, either by analysts or by systems.
- Data engineering and programming abilities can be used for data cleansing, data flows, pipeline creation, model deployment to production, and more.
