The bare minimums are.
- a bachelor's degree or an amount of experience that would be considered equivalent in the real world.
- an education in cybersecurity dating back three years.
Preferred credentials include.
- certifications in offensive security, like OSWE, GWAPT, GMOB, OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, or equivalent mobile/web certifications.
- Network protocol knowledge, enterprise application design, and architecture, mobile security, project management, familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities, source code review, or reverse engineering are prerequisites.
- having familiarity with the underlying programming languages (e.g., Java (J2EE) or a language similar to it; C; Python; ASP; .NET; Objective-C; Go; etc. ).
- superb interpersonal, group-work, and public-speaking abilities.

Responsibilities.
- perform variously sized offensive technical cyber security engagements in the shadows, with assistance, and in the end.
- Engage customers in conversation to resolve their issues or escalated concerns. Any problems that affect the engagements and their value to the clients should be tracked and fixed.
