reviews and analyzes software asset data to look for data integrity issues and the root causes of anomalies. Data sets span the gamut from modest exports that don't require comparisons to substantial exports that do.
outlines a fix for discrepancies between CARTS data and pulled inventory data. The source data from Flexera, CARTS, and other sources (BigFix, SCCM) may need to be thoroughly analyzed for this.
supports all initiatives aimed at enhancing the software asset management tool's overall software visibility. Increasing the amount of information in the tool and ensuring that it is all accurate and complete are the main concerns.
Obtains knowledge of and proficiency in appropriate asset management policies and practices for the teams in charge of contracting, managing suppliers, and owning businesses; ensures that software installation takes into account any hardware retirements; and ensures that new hardware is configured correctly by Software Asset Management (SAM) requirements.
produces, updates, and makes use of process documentation. This could include summaries of the policies, a reference list, a flowchart of the procedures, or a history of issues that have been resolved.
