•  The test analyst will serve as a specialist in quality assurance and validation throughout the entire testing lifecycle. In addition to assisting with the setup of the testing environment and adding to the requirements documentation and test design for various types of testing, they will design, develop, and implement test scripts and cases for complicated modules. Every phase of the application life cycle, including but not limited to system, performance, regression, and integration testing, is part of the job description.

 Summary of the position.

•  Work with the project's stakeholders to verify the requirements that were gathered, to make sure that business issues are clearly stated, to make sure that the proposed solutions are understood, and to make sure that they are appropriately scoped.
•  For the purpose of validating the creation of solutions, develop and implement automated and manual testing procedures and test plans.
•  Take a look at different aspects of product quality, such as usability, performance, security, scalability, and so forth.
•  Finding software QA best practices, collaborating with developers to ensure testable and high-quality code, and using internal and external resources as needed can all help a department's QA efforts.
•  First line quality assurance tasks are completed, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is facilitated, and products are confirmed to be consumer-ready.
•  Support thorough testing initiatives for a range of projects and software releases, including integration, system, regression, performance, and user-acceptance testing.
•  Making, carrying out, and maintaining test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
•  It's crucial to keep track of and manage defects, analyze test results and flaws, and troubleshoot issues with assistance from the development team and the business.
•  For assigned work, provide testing budgets.
•  Using test plans and cases, establish and maintain the traceability of requirements.
•  Cooperate with business analysts and project managers to ensure that requirements are outlined, understood, covered by tests, and thoroughly tested.
•  Keep track of and report on the KPIs and established metrics for the assigned projects.
•  By providing comprehensive and functional manual tests that can be incorporated into automated testing and by identifying potential candidates for automation tests, you can help the software development engineer in test create and maintain an automated infrastructure that is stable and reliable.
•  Using point-and-click script recording and execution, it might be necessary to create simple script automation.
•  actively participates in sprint planning meetings to develop stories with strong acceptance criteria and to help identify any requirements that are missing or incomplete.
•  actively participates in design and technical reviews to find missing, incorrect, or incomplete design choices or design assumptions.

 Required training and expertise.

•  Both a bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience are required.
•  Certifications that are pertinent are preferred (Certified Tester - Foundation Level).
•  3+ years of progressively responsible experience in an IT environment are necessary.
•  Experience building test cases and plans, using QA testing procedures, is required.
•  Preferably with two or more years of experience, in a supply chain setting.
•  Experience with the waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
•  It is necessary to have experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
•  Requires prior execution and management experience for user acceptance, system, regression, and integration testing.
•  knowledge of project management software like Jira, Rally, etc. to be preferred.
