As an Apple Professional Learning Specialist, you will work with educational institutions to transform their teaching and learning environments using Apple products. You will provide practical instructional coaching and mentoring to assist teachers in developing their technology skills with an emphasis on innovation, which will engage students in deeper learning. You will also offer professional learning plans, support for leadership and planning, and direct leadership.
This will be an Apple corporate position that is full-time for about a year. This yearly support position is based at the location where it is advertised on-site.
Significant Qualities.
- Proven leadership and teaching skills at the K–12 or higher education levels; coaching and instructional design experience in a one–to-one or higher education setting is a plus.
- knowledge of Ohio's academic, technological, and content standards.
- a solid grasp of the principles of instructional design.
- The effective integration of digital resources into classroom instruction and learning across a range of subject areas necessitates outstanding leadership skills.
- Gaining experience improves fundamental skills and performance in all major subject areas.

- knowledge of professional development activities like mentoring colleagues, leading workshops locally or nationally, giving presentations at conferences, etc.
- having experience leading workshops and programs on collaboration tools, moral and secure Internet use, and basic technology skills for children and parents.
- Expert in technology with hands-on knowledge of Apple products, software, and other education-related third-party apps.
- Outstanding knowledge of how to use gadgets and apps to improve education in subjects like math, science, social studies, English, and special education.

- You must be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).
