  •  Consumer Insight, Measurement and Analytics (CIMA) is a division of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) of The Walt Disney Company. CIMA influences data-driven and consumer-centric decision making with integrated, objective, and useful insights.
  •  Utilizing a range of statistical methods, the Advanced Analytics and Optimization Manager will compile data on our clients and other consumers before incorporating that data into marketing and sales initiatives. This position will also plan and carry out data mining initiatives for the larger Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics organization, under the supervision of senior leadership. This is a contributing position, and the Manager of Advanced Sales Analytics is the direct supervisor.

 Responsibilities.

  •  For various business divisions within Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products (DPEP), develop customer and consumer models.
  •  Transform model results into insights to help stakeholders understand opportunities to drive business value.
  •  Create and deliver insightful analytic presentations that are actionable and provide key stakeholders with consultative guidance.
  •  Create additional statistical models for various DPEP business areas and organizational problems.
  •  To validate data and gain understanding of business operations, use exploratory data analysis.

 Minimal demands.

  •  A minimum of two years of professional experience.
  •  Proven ability to communicate clearly both in writing and orally, including the capacity to summarize and present complex analytics to senior leadership.
  •  Understanding of various analytical, data mining, and machine learning techniques, including forecasting, mixed models, clustering, time series regression, and multivariate regression.
  •  experience with programming in Python or R.

 Preferred Requirements.

  •  5 years of professional employment.
  •  proficiency with R or Python for data mining.
  •  Previous employment with a media agency or a consulting business for analytics.
  •  Proficient in cutting-edge statistical and data mining techniques.
  •  working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

 It is essential to have education.

  •  A master's degree or its equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, data mining, computer science, engineering, or operations research.

 Education is preferred.

 A PhD or equivalent in operations research, computer science, engineering, economics, mathematics, or another related field.

  •  Knowledge of a variety of analytical, data mining, and machine learning methodologies, such as multivariate regression, mixed models, clustering, time series regression, and forecasting.
  •  Python or R programming experience.

 Recommended Qualifications.

  •  High level of expertise with R or Python for data mining.
  •  Prior employment with a media agency or analytics consulting business.
  •  Highly knowledgeable in statistical and advanced data mining techniques.

  •  A master's degree or its equivalent in operations research, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, or data mining.

  •  A PhD or an equivalent degree in operations research, computer science, engineering, economics, mathematics, or any of the aforementioned subjects.
