- This position is a part of the Contact Center Planning, Reporting, and Operations Team in the Analytics and Data Science Division.
- in charge of providing data and analytics support to one or more AA contact centers. (Customer support, reservations, central bag service, AAdvantage customer support, etc. ).

- utilizes key performance metrics for analysis and measurement in support of the organization's strategic direction in the contact center and customer experience planning.
- carries out complex quantitative analysis on a range of topics related to contact centers to gain insights, guide tool development, and support policy decision-making.
- produces standard reports and provides support for high-value analysis aimed at better understanding our clients and policies to improve overall client satisfaction and bottom-line revenue.
- leads highly visible projects spanning multiple departments in support of the company's overall analytics plan, taking part in its creation.
- primarily acts as the point of contact for inquiries about data, metadata, and statistical analysis. serves as the owner of at least one contact center, customer experience, or service recovery data subject area.
- acts as a liaison between the Contact Center Planning team and the Data Engineering, Automation, and Analytics organization, managing the management of improvements to existing databases and developing new data sources.
- Work with business partners to define KPIs and data sources for recently developed policies and products.

Both formal education and practical experience are prerequisites.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, or a closely related technical field; or equivalent experience/training.
- the ability to extract data using various tools and methods (SQL, SAS, Python, etc. ).
- being familiar with internal data warehouses (e. g. Data manipulation, extraction, analysis, and reporting with Mosaic.
- knowledge of either PowerBI or Tableau, two data visualization tools.
The preferred qualifications are education and prior work experience.
- an academic degree.
- two years' worth of experience extracting, analyzing, and manipulating relational database data.
- knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
- knowledge of related development environments (e.g. g. Spyder and Jupyter).
- either the certification for Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst.
- INFORMS has certified you as a professional in analytics.
Information, Authorizations, and Certifications.
- strong project management abilities, including experience leading projects across departments.
- It would be ideal to have advanced knowledge of Tableau/Power BI and Microsoft Excel. capable of using Microsoft Office programs like PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
- the ability to easily write SQL queries in at least one SQL dialect (e. g. similar to MSSQL, MySQL, etc. ).
- advanced problem-solving skills, including the ability to construct an appropriate analytical framework logically.
