This position had to be created due to the expansion of the Access Control and Governance Program because it would be in charge of carrying out the following access governance tasks:.
- The following are some of Sailpoint's access governance guidelines:.
- SailPoint IIQ's operations are managed and supported.
- incidents involving app end-user support are investigated, diagnosed, and resolved.
- Sailpoint IIQ configuration administration and management pertaining to identity and access management.
- The creation, balancing, end-user support, and reporting of SailPoint access reviews are all fully managed.
- managing an application environment that is fully integrated and highly available as well as object life-cycle management.
- proactive system object and log monitoring to search for errors or potential areas for development.
- working with internal and external audit for assistance with controls for provisioning and recurring access reviews.
- enabling the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) model for business applications.
- Role definition, approval workflow, off-boarding, role recertification, and maintenance are all part of the role lifecycle processes that must be carried out.
- examining the technical elements of complex applications in order to integrate them with SailPoint.
- communicating with and assisting in the understanding of various implementation options by stakeholders.
- monitoring ongoing controls for implemented controls.
- Collaboration between team members and with stakeholders is essential for successful control implementation.
- Documentation and standards are highly stressed.

- - collaborating with application owners to design and implement access review control.
- - To support user life cycle management controls, the ideal candidate should also be familiar with Sailpoint administration and usage.
