What are your intentions?
In relation to crew staffing and budgeting, information on crew utilization and efficiency should be gathered, compiled, and examined. Be a part of the crew staffing manager's planning process for the budget and staffing. The analyst is expected to provide accurate analyses on time and to collaborate well with all parties, including the management of Flight Ops and Inflight, business partners, and various operating groups. Work closely with the Finance and Network Planning teams to identify and resolve issues with crew effectiveness, crew hotels, and operational performance.
Essential Positions.
- Maintaining long- and short-term crew staffing models and plans, month-end reporting of cost and credit analysis, and as needed, ad hoc data and analytics are all things that you can help the manager with. Examine the underlying causes of variances in staffing and credit, and make profit-maximizing recommendations.
- Develop management recommendations after evaluating the financial impacts of projects involving crew staffing, such as productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Together with Finance, create the pay, lodging, and per diem budgets for the pilots and flight attendants.
- Provide data in the areas of flight operations, in-flight, SOC, marketing, and finance to internal Frontier customers.
- By addressing the operational and financial effects of suggested marketing schedules, you can contribute to the long-term profitability of hotels and staffing. Conduct scenario analyses to determine the best course of action in an uncertain situation.
- Contribute to the analysis of potential work rule modifications to determine how they will affect operational, financial, and headcount factors.
- As needed, help team members arrange Crew Hotel Site Visits with Unions and Hotel Vendor. As required, travel and site visits should be made.
- As needed, assist team members with other crew hotel support, such as feedback reports, operational impacts, hotel contracts, and other administrative tasks.
- Help the manager of crew staffing and analysis develop ongoing metrics and reporting for departmental objectives.
Additional Goals.
- Create management reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis that cover crew productivity, budgetary and operational performance, and contract compliance.
- In order to understand the crew productivity of Frontier in comparison, establish and maintain contacts in the industry.
- Whenever necessary, lend a hand with additional ad hoc projects and processes.
Qualifications.
- It is necessary to have a bachelor's degree, preferably with an analytical focus, or to have equivalent professional experience.
- An understanding of developing both short- and long-term crew staffing plans, as well as at least three years of experience in crew planning or scheduling, are required.
- An analytical background in finance or business of an equivalent caliber may be used for crew planning, scheduling, or hotel experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience with crew optimization systems or a comparable staffing optimization procedure.
